About
My name is Kelly Kauppi (she, they)
I am Filipino, queer, "neuro-spicy", and always curious. I was born and raised in Kāneʻohe and Honolulu on the island of Oahu, where I later moved up to the ancestral lands of the Chinook, Kalapuya, Klamath, Modoc, Nez Perce, and Cayuse (or as you may know it, Oregon). I have been drawn to indigenous practices that honor our ‘Āina, well-ancestors, and cultural joy.
I recently became a parent. Outside of that primary role, I am a yoga student (and teacher), an occupational therapy assistant (COTA), and a cacao facilitator.
My deepest intention is to bring people together through somatic learning, cacao plant medicine, and communal curiosity. Sometimes I write, and occasionally I host yoga and cacao events in Portland, Oregon.
